Our dance family is growing, and so are we!

In 2009, MGOS and Ashford Ballet Company rented space weekly from different dance studios, schools, and churches in the Southwedge. In 2009, directors Mary Cantin, Nina Piccini, Caitlyn Redmond, and Wendy Michael were thrilled to have built the student base to move into a single studio at 700 South Clinton. In the years that followed, we slowly but surely converted different parts of the building into danceable spaces. From knocking down office walls, ripping up carpet, and the 2011 conversion of an apartment into our beautiful upstairs studio. In 2015, we opened an additional studio space at 758 South Avenue to house our teen dance program, Burn at the Barre Classes, and some Saturday morning tots classes.

The time has come for us to move our entire operation to a brand new facility in Rochester’s up-and-coming Village Gate! Our new studio space contains 3 large dance rooms, an expanded waiting room, and PARKING for everyone. The South Wedge neighborhood, and our 700 South Clinton studio will always hold a special place in our heart. We are so excited to make the move to the Neighborhood of the Arts, and to see what new opportunities await us.

I am so happy that I am able to share my love of dance with your children!

It’s a dream come true!

Love,

Caitlyn (Ashford Ballet Company Director)
