Recital Fee: A $35 non-refundable recital fee will be charged to each dancer participating in our annual recital. This will cover venue rental, technical costs, and tickets to the performance. These invoices will be sent out on January 15 and are due by February 15.
Costume Fees: Costumes range in price based on the dancers’ level. We strive to keep our prices as LOW as possible by ordering from reasonably priced catalogs and charging you the exact price of each costume. Each costume is generally $40-$55. Costume invoices are included with recital fee invoices. Families are able to fundraise by selling Niagara Chocolate bars in January and March.
Tuition assistance and scholarships: We offer financial assistance, adjusted tuition rates, and extended payment plans for families who are in need. Contact Caitlyn directly to explain your situation and discuss options!
Goodwin Academy of Irish Dance and Ashford Ballet Company Billing: Dancers enrolled in both Goodwin Academy of Irish Dance and at Ashford Ballet will receive ONE invoice from Ashford. However, this bill reflect SEPARATE billing amounts for time spent in class at each school.
Refunds for Missed Classes: In the event that a class is canceled due to inclement weather, teacher illness, or other extenuating circumstances, we will do our best to schedule a make up class. We do NOT provide refunds for dancers missing classes due to other obligations or illness. Dancers are permitted to make up a limited number of classes by making prior arrangements with Caitlyn at least a week in advance. Classes may be made up by attending a class of a similar level within 2 weeks of the missed class.
Attendance: Regular attendance in dance class is important, not only for recital preparations, but also in order for dancers to make steady technical progress. When a dancers’ attendance becomes a concern, we will contact you to discuss a plan for course of action which may include scheduling private lessons to make up missed content or finding an alternative class placement.
